Arbitration Studio’s September 2014 BattleTech Podcast
This month on Arbitration we look at some of the future products (we hope) we’ll see out of Catalyst Game Labs, and delve into a 3-Part series on Alternate Universes. This episode we’ll discuss the mechanical writing and outlining process of developing an alternate fictional universe. After that, we’ll dive into the Abritration News Desk with more Florida Craziness (Knightmare will undoubtedly be offended) and a Food Challenge straight out of Japan.
Arbitration also has links to a sweet Twitter and YouTube page, so sign up and follow!

Not sure about your explanation of “Good” and “Bad” motivations… I agree that curiosity is good and bitterness is bad, but I don’t think it’s automatically bad to want to “fix” something in the setting, or to start at the end of events and then process the setting in reverse order (especially if the alternate universe is being prepped as a campaign setting).
