It’s 2018, and we’re already partying like it’s 2019! Well, sort of…with BattleTech in a brief holding pattern…(Read: Cone of Silence)…the Arbiters have decided to experiment with a side show to help pass the time. It’s our hope that you like it as much as we do. Also, Stan Bush happens, Hot Rod Sucks, and we try figure out what happened to a missing DinoBot as the Arbiter’s review Transformers: The Movie.

Hey guys, the BattleTech podcast pastures are really sparse :(. I just caught up with your BT episodes and I’m chompin at the bit for more.
Would it help if you had more hosts to swap in and keep things lively so it’s not just the two of you having to do it all by your lonesome?
I’ve got some experience with podcasting – I’ve been on Baka Baka Baka (an anime podcast) since it’s inception over a year ago, and I’m a huge battletech fan, though surprisingly poorly versed in board game experience and non-mech and clan lore.
If you want to see if my personality would be compatible, here’s a link to Baka Baka Baka’s Youtube account:

I have had some interesting battletech projects going in the past as well, and am currently using BattleTech as a source for a project I’m working on to learn PHP and MySQL for database management (just a hobby). Eventually, if I can get it working well enough, I intend to use it as a personal source to get back into the 3d modeling I was doing to try and make custom versions of select ‘Mechs that I’m fond of (starting at the Mackie and working forward) to 3d print and assemble, like a model car, plane, or, really, more like an articulated Gundam.
Here’s a thread from years ago when I was working on the Mackie. I still have the models for that, as well as various Commando and Banshee models I’ve picked at here and there.

Here’s a thread where I was checking my perception of gathered information relating to the history of the Mackie. I was working on a research paper, which I would then turn into a (as regular as possible) one man podcast about a given topic in the BattleTech universe. Especially BattleMechs, but also, specific technologies, events, houses, individuals, etc… I still have the script I was working on for the Mackie.

Anyways – BattleTech is a love of mine, but my knowledge base and experience is very specific. I’d love to chat with you guys and fill in if you guys need another host if our schedules can line up.
I’m in Texas (UTC), my wife (of 12 years) is going to school for web development, and I work evenings as a janitor, so my schedule is strange and varies with semesters.
(Now you basically have my resume lol)
Thank you,
Jeremy Anderson
……. well crap ….
if you could cut all that I’d really appreciate it. I intended for it to just be an e-mail…
